What: Hands-On Fresh Mozzarella Making
Cost: $125 per person (plus HST)
There are some things that just taste better the fresher they are. Mozzarella is definitely one of those things, and you will never have any fresher than the one you will hand-make, and eat, during this class.
We will start with just milk and a few other simple ingredients and transform it into soft, fresh mozzarella, perfect for a classic caprese salad or to top a classic Neopolitan Margherita pizza. You will hand stretch the mozzarella curd into mozzarella balls, nodini, and bocconcini. You will experience the longest cheese pull you’ve ever seen.
After the class, we will enjoy a group meal of dishes featuring the mozzarella made in class, and the best part is that you will go home with plenty of the white gold, which will keep in your fridge for days.
We will greet you with light antipasti to tide you over until the after-class meal.
