Where: Cucina Mauro Kitchen Cafe, 76 Densley Avenue, Unit 3 (facing Sheffield St on east side of building), Toronto (near Keele St and Lawrence Ave)

When: Saturday February 14, 2026, 7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.

What: Hands-On Cooking Class and Dinner

Cost: $195 per person (plus HST)

Nobody does love like Italians, and no country’s cuisine says romance more than Italy’s. In this hands-on class, you and your partner will help us prepare components of the Italian aphrodisiac focused menu that we will prepare for you to enjoy, after the class portion of the evening, in our cozy and itimate trattoria style space, with full table service. The menu for the evening will be

First Course

Fresh hand made mozzarella nodini (hand-stretched by you and your partner in class) with fresh figs, honey, and prosciutto.

What’s more romantic than hand making and stretching fresh mozzarella together, alla Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore in Ghost! Figs and honey, both also have aphrodisiac properties.

Second Course

Slow Braised Osso Bucco (veal shank) with Saffron Risotto

Risotto is a food of love. It takes time and patience. It must be constantly attended to and never ignored. You will learn the critical steps in making a perfect risotto, with saffron, know for it’s aphrodisiac properties.

Third Course

Cannoli al Cioccolato

No aphrodisiac menu would be complete without some chocolate, and Sicily’s classic cannoli are a perfect vessel. The best cannoli are the ones that are made as freshly as possible, and you will never have one more fresh than the ones you will make together during this class. You will roll and shape the shells before they get fried and piped with a silky chocolate ricotta filling.

We will greet you with light antipasti and, of course, not let you go home before offering you an espresso.
