Italy's Other Pasta: Gnocchi - Saturday January 17, 2026 - Hands-On Class
Join us for a fun interactive class to learn how to make fresh gnocchi by hand, just like an Italian grandmother.
Where: Cucina Mauro Kitchen Cafe, 76 Densley Avenue, Unit 3 (facing Sheffield St on east side of building), Toronto (near Keele St and Lawrence Ave)
When: Saturday January 17, 2026, 6:30p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
What: Hands-On Gnocchi Making Class
Cost: $125 per person (plus HST)
Gnocchi, Italy’s classic and beloved soft pillowy dumplings, are a category unto themselves. The dough is made differently than other types of pasta, typically incorporating soft boiled potatoes. In this class, you will learn how to make a traditional authentic gnocchi dough, and then how to portion it and roll it into the classic ridged dumplings. At the end of the class, we will cook up our gnocchi and serve them with a variety of sauces, for a fun group meal.
We will greet you with light antipasti to tide you over until it’s time to sit down with our plates of gnocchi. Of course, we won’t let you go until we offer an espresso to end the evening.
All supplies and equipment included. You only need to show up with a smile!
